Introduction

Avci Technologies Pty Ltd ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company") operates Ikiligo, a mobile application designed for couples aged 18 and over to connect with other couples socially.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By creating an account and using Ikiligo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, you must not use our Service.

Data Retention

Storage Location: Secure Google Cloud servers in compliance with Australian privacy standards.

Account Deletion Process: When you delete your account, the process follows two stages:

Immediate Actions (Day 0)

Your account is locked immediately - you cannot sign in
Your Firebase Authentication is deleted
You can create a NEW account with the same phone number
Your profile is hidden from other users
You are removed from all matches and conversations

60-Day Retention Period

Your account data remains in our system for 60 days
This retention is for legal compliance and fraud prevention
Your data is marked as "deleted" and inaccessible
Your partner (if applicable) is moved to "deleted members"
Messages may still show as "[Deleted User]" to other users

Permanent Deletion (After 60 Days)

All personal information is permanently deleted
Profile photos and data are removed from storage
Private data including phone numbers is deleted
Couple profiles are deleted if both partners have deleted accounts
This deletion is irreversible

Active Account Data Retention

Data retained while your account is active
Chat messages stored until deleted by you or your match
Inactive accounts may be deleted after extended inactivity
Phone numbers stored separately with restricted access

Legal Exceptions

Some data may be retained longer if required by law
Data necessary for fraud prevention or legal disputes
Anonymized analytics data for service improvement

Banned Users and Fraud Prevention

If your account is suspended or banned for violating our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, we retain minimal identifying information (such as phone number and device identifiers) to prevent you from creating new accounts
This data is kept for fraud prevention and community safety
Banned user data is stored separately with restricted access
This information may be retained indefinitely or until the ban is lifted
You may request information about your ban status by contacting support

Prohibited Content

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Nudity, sexual, or explicit material
• Violent or graphic content
• Content promoting illegal activities
• Discriminatory or harassing content
• Spam or unsolicited advertising
• Fake or misleading profiles

All photos are scanned using Google Cloud Vision AI before being visible to other users.

Violations result in account suspension or permanent ban.

Children's Privacy

Ikiligo is strictly for adults aged 18 and over.

We verify both partners meet the minimum age of 18 during registration.

If we discover an underage user, the account and all data will be deleted immediately.

Report underage users via the app or email support@ikiligo.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

Changes in practices or services
Legal or regulatory requirements
New features or technologies

Notification of Changes:

Material changes communicated via in-app notification
Email notification to registered address
"Last Updated" date will be revised
Continued use constitutes acceptance
